Oye, Shema, Hear
Oye means “hear” in Spanish, and Shema is the same in Hebrew,
touching on that portion of Hebrew Scripture that is at the core of Jewish prayer:
"Shema, Israel”, or “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one," (Deut 6:4).
May all people hear the promises of forgiveness, healing, and freedom that are fulfilled in Jesus.
A hand is extended to you,
a path to peace is revealed,
joy is declared
in the midst of the deep wound of abortion.
I am one who suffered myself, and after 25 years found peace in Jesus.
